What do I get with my MDS Dealership?
You will have access to over 30,000 products at wholesale cost that you resell for a profit.You will get a fully stocked webstore loaded with thousands of products, shopping cart, a merchant account to accept your customers credit card orders, free tech support, professionally designed digital color e-catalogs, etc. You will have assistance from our staff to help you start and build your business.
Do you dropship orders?
Yes we can drop-ship products directly to your customers for you, so you don’t have to stock or ship the merchandise. And you do not have to order an item until you already sold it. There is no extra charge to have orders drop shipped.
Is the Dealership a yearly fee?
There are no monthly or yearly fees with your Dealership. It is only a one-time fee that allows you to be a lifetime Dealer with us.
Can I place an order without being a Dealer?
We do not sell to the general public. Only our Dealers can order from us.
How do I get paid from the sale of the products?
Your customers pay you the retail price for the products, so you will have all the money up front in your hand. Then you place the order with us at your wholesale cost. We will then ship the products to your customers for you. You keep the profit, which is the difference between the retail price you sold the item for, and your wholesale cost. You will be able to accept credit cards, so their money will go directly into your checking account.
What about web hosting?
All websites on the Internet need to be hosted. The cost to have your webstore hosted on our server is as low as $36. This includes all the editing tools for your website, shopping cart, secured ordering for your customers, etc. There is no contract for the hosting, you can start and stop it at anytime. If you have your own website and hosting you would not need to have the hosting from us, you can use your own.
Do I have to order products up front?
You would not need to stock, ship or purchase items in advance. After you receive your customers orders, you would then place the order with us and we will drop ship it to them for you.
What is the cost to ship the products?
Your customer pays the shipping amount charged by UPS. Your webstore will be setup to automatically add the shipping to your customers order when they check out, so you don’t have to worry about figuring out shipping amounts. Your webstore does it for you. We ship the products within 1-2 business days of receiving your order.
Do I have to buy in large bulk quantities?
Nope, items can be purchased in small and single quantity with no minimum amount required. Order one item or a thousand at the same low cost.
Is the merchandise guaranteed?
Yes. It’s the only way to merchandise successfully. We guarantee delivery and complete customer satisfaction on the merchandise we sell.
What kind of items do you stock?
We offer a wide range of items including: jewelry, leather goods, electronics, tools, toys, home décor, etc. Thousands of different items… something for everyone!
How much money can I make?
There is no limit on how much you can make. The amount of money that you can make depends upon your determination and how you apply the guidance and services we provide. Each Dealer is the owner of their own business. Some Dealers are happy working a few hours a week earning extra money, while others devote full time to their business and make a large income for themselves.We have been in business since 1993 and have thousands of successful Dealers who fill their customers orders through us regularly.
Do I have to order a minimum amount of merchandise to remain a Dealer?
No, there is no minimum amount required. You operate your business at your own pace. Order what you need when you need it.
Do I need a business license to resell merchandise?
Because laws differ from state to state, you should check with your local town hall or Chamber of Commerce.You should get a tax ID number, this will allow you to purchase products from us without paying sales tax. You would collect the sales tax from your customer on the final sale of the product (your webstore will be setup to collect the sales tax from your customer). You can get your tax ID and register your business name with your town hall.
How are product returns handled?
Many items have the manufacture warranties for 1 year. For the others, we have a 30-day return policy. Simply return the item back to us and we will ship out a replacement or issue you a refund.
How can I get started?
Simply click on the “Become a Dealer” link and submit the online form. Everything you need to get started will be in the Dealers area, and you will receive your Dealers login right away.
